I’ve received this email from Jason, he wishes to spread the word about honda generators:

The Honda generators are the best – I’ve used them for forty years. I currently use a Eu2000i for a mobile lab that has sensitive electronic equipment and forces them all without problems. By the end of Honda’s clean and stable and can be used without extra line protection. (Some of the cheap units are so poorly regulated and has ugly waveforms that this is a good idea).

Another thing nobody has mentioned is that Honda will throttle down if the load is not too high, it becomes even quieter and will run for a long time.
